VACATION BIBLE SCHOOL

parish ministry

Open to children 4 years old through 4th grade, Vacation Bible School is a week-long program that takes place in the summer. Registered children learn, pray, craft, dance, play games and more as a community led by our incredible team of trained teen and middle school volunteers and a supervisory team of adults.
Visit our St. Isidore VBS website for more information including dates, registration, photos and schedules from previous years, and to learn how to volunteer with us.

THE MISSIONARY HUB AT ST. ISIDORE PARISH

parish ministry

A regional ministry of the Catholic Church of Philadelphia, a hub is designed to form the parish and surrounding community as missionary disciples so together, we can bring people home to Christ.
Rooted in St. Isidore Parish and animated by the Holy Spirit, the Hub unites prayer, formation and service to bring Christ’s compassionate love into the everyday places of life – our homes, workplaces, schools and neighborhoods.

In short, the Missionary Hub exists to go out and bring people home to Christ – whether for the first time or the first time in a long time.

PRAYER SHAWL MINISTRY

parish ministry

The Saint Isidore Prayer Shawl Ministry is a dedicated group of knitters and crocheters that meet once a month to craft prayer shawls, lap shawls for retired veterans, baby blankets, hats, and booties, as well as baptismal shawls.  We also craft fleece blankets for chemo patients.  God has given us the ability to work with our hands and make beautiful articles to give to His children.  We craft to honor Him and to serve.  Meetings are the second Wednesday of the month in the Multipurpose Room
