Reverend Frederick J. Riegler, Pastor
Father Fred was born in the Roxborough section of
Philadelphia of immigrant parents. He was ordained in
1967. For much of his early priesthood he was a teacher,
nineteen years of which he was a professor at St. Charles
Seminary. Prior to coming to St. Isidore's, he was pastor
at St. John the Baptist in Manayunk (Philadelphia). He was
appointed pastor of St. Isidore Parish in June 1998. Among
his hobbies is baking.
Reverend Khoa Nguyen, Parochial Vicar
Father Khoa
(pronounced Quah) was born in Viet Nam. He and his family
came to this country when he was eleven. Father Khoa was
ordained in 2001. His first assignment was Visitation B. V.
M. Parish in Trooper, Pa. He was assigned to St. Isidore's
as Parochial Vicar in June 2004. He is in charge of all
youth activities, especially C. Y. O. Among his hobbies is
performing magic tricks.
Ginny
is our Parish Secretary and often the first person many meet
when coming to the parish. She is married and has three
children, two boys and one girl, two of whom are still in
school (college, high school). Ginny is a parishioner of
Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Parish in nearby Hilltown.
Her office is located in the Parish Center on Broad Street.
