Food Pantry

The Food Pantry’s mission is to help area residents (both parishioners and non-parishioners) who cannot feed themselves or their families

Located in the Parish Office at 603 W.  Broad Street, the pantry is open  Saturday from 9:00 A.M. to 12:00 P.M., and by special appointment.

Volunteers, who not only give food but also kindness to those who visit the pantry, operate the pantry.  Volunteers also stock and organize pantry shelves, buy groceries with money or gift cards donated to the pantry, pick up donations from area stores, and handle many special projects.  Volunteers meet four times a year to discuss the running of the pantry.  Both adults and children are welcome to volunteer; however, volunteers under 18 must be supervised by a parent while at the pantry.

The pantry also has served several projects that students can do to complete community service hours for school.

Donations of non-perishable food may be placed in the Food Bank containers at the Church doors.  Donations of both perishable and non-perishable food may be brought to the Parish Office on Broad Street during business hours or on Saturdays from 9:30 to 11:30.  We also appreciate supermarket gift cards so we can buy other necessary items.
