Kim Mikulski Update from her husband, the payers are working, please keep them coming.

James Mikulski
Just returned home from being with Kimberly Snell Mikulski. She continues to make progress, I'd call it an ok day. They took Kim off inter-veins pain meds and on to pills. I could tell this adjustment was not pleasant for her, but directionally its positive. Thanks to Terri Krolick for visiting last night and Suzanne Senick Wasilewski and her son Owen for making a visit today and helping cheer her up. She continues to have numbness in her left leg which was pinned under the boulder. This may or may not go away. With help, she is able to walk a very short distance to go to the bathroom. Got misinformed or I misunderstood the docs about surgeries - she goes back in for an all day surgery tomorrow - more than a just a skin graf - they plan on taking muscle tissue from her back or stomach to replace the damage to her forearm muscle. I can tell she is scared about the surgery - docs don't hold back on the risks - a lot to do and things that must go right. Confident she is in good hands, but tomorrow will be an important day and we can use all of your prayers. We're doing our best to keep spirits up, but I can tell she needs a break and wants this to be over as do I and Jimmy Mikulski. Other than pain, discomfort and numbness in her leg, no additional issues discovered.
I can't thank everyone enough for the support, flowers, prayers, well wishes and kind words. This is evidence of the love you have for Kim and our family.

Very sad to report that Father Fred's beloved cat, Max, passed away last night. He was 15 years old, and originally belonged to Father's mother, and when she passed he joined the rectory group of felines. A very private ceremony was held this afternoon.
He was a fine cat, and will be missed greatly by Father Fred, and I am sure some members of the parish.
